The Willie Paretti Day Center

Family REACH Alliance is proud to be part of the Safe Haven Campus, a collaborative environment designed to provide a coordinated, sustainable, and compassionate network of care in St. Tammany Parish. Our home on the Safe Haven Campus allows Family REACH Alliance to work alongside community partners while providing families experiencing homelessness with the resources and support they need to move toward stability and independence.
Our Day Center is named in honor of our longtime friend, Ms. Willie Paretti. Willie has spent decades championing children and advocating for families experiencing homelessness. A longtime friend, mentor, and supporter of local charities and nonprofit organizations, Willie has made a lasting impact on our community. We are honored to have her name and legacy live on through the Willie Paretti Day Center.
The Willie Paretti Day Center provides a parish-central location where families can work toward breaking the cycle of poverty, develop critical life skills, and build the connections and support necessary to obtain and maintain stable housing and long-term self-sufficiency. Through our partnership with St. Tammany Parish Public Schools, we work to help children in our care remain in their school of origin, providing important stability during a difficult time.
More than a building, the Willie Paretti Day Center is a place of safety, support, and hope for families while also serving as a hub for our staff, volunteers, and programs. From this location, Family REACH Alliance continues to strengthen and expand our services so we can provide more families with the hand up they need to build a sustainable future.

Congregations

Found all across Southern Louisiana, we have partnered with host congregations that will give you a comfortable and supportive place to stay for the night. Our locations can be found in Abita Springs, Covington, Franklinton, Hammond, Madisonville, Mandeville, and Slidell.

Van and Trailer

​To ensure that you are safe while traveling from the Willie Paretti Day Center to one of our many host congregations, we offer a van to transport you and your family.
Our trailer helps move the mattresses to each congregation so that you and your family can have a comfortable place to sleep each night.
Upon graduating our program and moving into your apartment, we do try to reach out to our volunteers to help so that your move in day can go as smooth as possible!
